Customs declarations: I form C2/CP3 and I despatch note CP2. Declarations
should show the Post Office serial number of the parcel and should, as far as
possible, he prepared in French and English and in accordance with classification
of the French customs tarilf. Weights and measures should be shown in the
metric system.
Prohibitions: Letters. Absinthe and similar products, arms, except sporting
guns admitted under permit: charged butane gas lighters and refills (uncharged
Fighters arc admitted and should be declared as such on the customs declaration
forms); saccharin, contraceptives, radio-active materials, tobacco and tobacco
products.
Restrictions: Living plants, gramophone records: liqueurs and spirits,
preserved fish, medicine, gold, silver, platinum, and plated articles, fish and game.
The importation of all other goods is subject to the production of an import
licence.
Scaling: Parcels should be sealed with a distinctive device.
Delivery: Parcels arc not delivered. Charges are collected from the addressees,
except at Libreville, Port Gcntil.
