      Restrictions:  Almanacs and calendars  in  the  Finnish  or Swedish  languages;
      Gift parcels:  Customs and other charges arc payable on most gift parcels but
     medicines; seeds: unmanufactured tobacco, wines; spirits; radio-active substances,
     gifts of worn clothing,  used  bed  linen and  used  table linen  are admitted free of
     used clothing.

     chocolate or sweets, 8oz tea and 3 !oz tobacco despatched to any one addressee in
     one month.

        Air Mail
      Dutiable ankles may be sent by letter and small packet post-up to $100 green
     label written in French and English  required;  thereafter lop green label and form
     C2/CP3.  Letter  packets  containing  postage  stamps  should bear  a  green  label.

      Prohibitions:  Chain letters, charged butane gas lighters and refills (uncharged
     lightciare  admitted  but  there  should  be  an  appropriate  indication  of  the
     contents on the cover of the packet);  plants,  and radio-active materials, lottery
     tickets.
      Restrictions: Articles of gold, alcohol and liqueurs, bank-notes, currency notes,
     documents  payable  to  bearer;  coin:  insulin;  medicines;  tobacco  products,
     scrums,  vaccine  and  similar  preparations,  narcotics,  contraceptives,  feeding
     bottles and parts thereof, imitation pearls, precious stones, saccharin.
      Printed  waller:  Printed  matter, especially books,  is liable  to be taxed. News­
     papers and periodicals are exempt.

      Address:  If the postcode is known it should be written to the left-hand side of
     the name of the country.

      Insurance:  No Service.
      Customs declarations:  I  form C2 CP3 and  I  despatch note CP2.  Declarations
     should  show  the  Post  Office serial  number of the  parcel  and  should,  as  far as
     possible  be  prepared  in  French  and  English.  Weights and  measures should  be
     shown in the metric system.
