        Insurance.  No Service.
        Prohibit ions:  Bank-notes,  currency  notes,  documents  payable  to  bearer,
      coin,  gold,  jewellery,  platinum,  precious  stones,  silver:  drugs,  printed  matter,
      designs or emblems contrary to public order.
        Restrictions:  Sec  under  parc hi s  post.

        Parcels Post

        Customs declarations:  3 forms C2/CP3 and 1 despatch note CP.’.

        Insurance: No Service.
        Prohibitions:  Letters, Arms, tobacco, spirits.
        Restrictions:  certain  foodstuffs;  proprietary  medicines,  scrums,  vaccines,
      viruses; opium,  morphine  and  cocaine  and  other  narcotics;  plants and  parts
      of plants including seeds ; weights and measures.
        Import  licences  are  necessary  for  all  parcels  sent  to  Eritrea  for  commercial
      purposes  and  applications  for  licences  must  be  made  by  the  addressee  to  the
      Ministry  of  Commerce,  Industry  and  Tourism,  Ethiopia.  Parcels  sent under
      import  licence  must  be  endorsed  “Commercial” and  parcels not  sent for com­
      mercial purposes must  be endorsed "Private, Not Commercial  Purpose”.
        Certificate  of origin:  A  certificate  of  origin  may  be  enclosed  in  the  parcel
      provided  the  customs  declaration  and  the  cover of the parcel are noted  “Certi­
      ficate  of Origin  Enclosed”.  If  the  certificate  relates  to  more  than  one  parcel
      the customs declaration and the cover of each  parcel must  be  suitably endorsed
      as to which parcel contains the certificate.
        Invoice:  Every parcel for Eritrea addressed to a commercial  firm  and  contain­
      ing goods  for sale, must be accompained  by an  invoice dated  and signed by the
      sender.  A  certified  invoice  is  required  for all  parcels  for Ethiopia.  One invoice
      is sufficient for a consignment  of parcels  posted at  the same time by one sender
      to  the same addressee,  provided  that  the  parcels are clearly  marked  to show in
      which parcel  the invoice is enclosed.
        Packing  Parcels  must  be  strongly  packed  and  if necessary  enclosed  in  two
      waterproof covers.
        Delivery:  Parcels are not  delivered.

        The Falkland  Islands Dependencies (South Georgia  and South
           Sandwich  Islands.)
