The first Jamaican stamped postal stationery registered envelopes were printed by De La Rue.
Composite essay for the
embossed registration stamp.
The centre is photographic.
The frame is printed in vermilion
and then handpainted in
vermilion, pink and Chinese
White.

New dies were prepared when the monarch or face value changed. Five different dies were used in
the colonial period, one for George V, three for George VI and one for Queen Elizabeth. These were
used on envelopes in sizes F and H in all three reigns.
George V 2d + 1d die on envelope size F, issued on 27 January 1913.
