Jamaica Registration: Registration Labels.
Amended registration labels.
Where labels were unavailable, offices reverted to manuscript numbering. This changed from about
1934, when labels altered in manuscript began to appear. Sometimes only the name of the office was
changed, sometimes the numbers had to be altered to keep the sequence at the new office.
Titchfield altered to Mandeville, on 1934 cover to Great Britain. The Titchfield Hotel and its post office
burnt down in 1910, so its remaining labels waited for 24 years before being reused at Mandeville.
