                      Overseas Post: Foreign Countries, contd.
        AJMAN, contd.
         Prohibitions:  Letters,  except  one  for  the  addressee;  arms  and  ammunition
        (or parts thereof); charged butane gas lighters and refills (uncharged lighters are
        admitted); cultured, imitation, artificial and bleached pearls.
         Restrictions:  Alcoholic drinks, drugs.
         Packing:  Parcels should be very strongly packed.
         Address:  Sec under Letter Post.
         Delivery:  Parcels are not delivered.

         Compensation  is not  payable for damage to ordinary parcels,  lost, stolen or
        damaged in the AJMAN Service.

         Dutiable  articles may be sent  by small  packet  post—up  to  SI00  green  label
        written  in  Albanian  or French and  English  required;  thereafter top green  label
       and form C2/CP3. Items subject to customs duty arc not accepted in ordinary and
        registered  letters.  Serums,  vaccines  and  urgently  required  medicaments  are
        admitted in all cases.
         Insurance: No Service.
         Prohibitions: Photographic film, plates and paper.
         Restrictions:  Medicines for personal use except  the  addressee  holds  a  medi­
       cal certificate.
         Parcel Post

         Insurance: No Service.
         Customs declarations: I  form C2/CP3 and 1  despatch note CP2 written  in  A l­
        banian or French and English.
        Prohibitions:  Arms,  except  sporting  guns  under  permit;  articles  prejudicial  to
        the State and to public order; charged butane gas lighters and refills (uncharged
       lighters are admitted and should  be declared as such cn the customs declaration
        form),  narcotics,  saccharin, foodstuffs  in  hermetically sealed containers, radio­
        active substances.
         Restrictions:  Medicines  for personal use except the addressee holds a medical
       certificate; plants and parts of plants. An import permit must be obtained by the
       addressee in advance for many items. Worn clothing must be accompanied by a
        Certificate cf disinfection.
         Gift Parcels which must contain only articles for the personal use of the addres­
       see or his family should be clearly marked “gift parcel”.
         Compensation is not payable for damage to parcels containing liquids,  fragile
        articles or perishable goods.
