Insurance: Limit $40. Surface parcels to St. Johns only.
Prohibitions: Letters except one for the addressee; arms, except under licence
from the Government, drugs, except under licence, perishable biological subs-
tances, radio-active material.

Restrictions apply to the importation of plants; nuts; vegetables; fruits, inclu­
ding dried, canned or crystallized fruits.
ARGENTINA

Dutiable articles may be sent by letter post and in small packets—up to S100
green label written in Spanish or French and English required; thereafter top
green label and 2 forms C2/CP3.
Green Label Service: Packets bearing a green label must also bear a manuscript
indication that the green customs label has been affixed.
Items of value (e.g. coins, currency notes, gold etc.) are not admitted in regis­
tered letters.
insurance: No Service.
Prohibitions: Books are not admitted in registered letters, printed matter and
illustrations of a Communist nature, charged butane gas lighters and refills,
chemical products, currency notes and securities payable to bearer, coins, foreign
lottery tickets, jewellery, pearls, precious stones and imitation precious stones and
valuables; except in insured letters; packets of pictorial postcards by printed
papers post; tobacco, except in small quantities sent as gifts. See also under Parcel

Restrictions: Drugs; plants and seeds.
Invoice: Three copies of a commercial invoice bearing details of the date of
posting, and, where applicable, the registration number, should be prepared for
every packet of a commercial nature. The three copies should be forwarded
directly to the addressee.
