         Dutiable articles  may  be  sent  by  letter  and  small  packet  post-up to  SI00
       green label required;  thereafter top green label and  form C2/CP3.  Particulars  in
       detail  of each  commodity  must  be  shown  on  the  customs  declaration  form
       C2/CP3.
         Insurance:  No  Service.
         Prohibitions:  Bank  and  currency  notes;  charged  butane  gas  lighters  and
       refills  (uncharged  lighters  are  admitted,  obsccnce  articles,  plants,  weapons.
         Restrictions:  Arms, medicines, fruits and seeds.

         Insurance: No Service.


         Customs declarations:  1 form C2/CP3 and 1despatch note CP2.
         Prohibitions:  Letters;  arms and  parts of arms, except sporting guns admitted
       under permit; bees, chemicals and chemical products; bank and currency  notes,
       wines or spirituous liquors.
         Restrictions:  Cigarette papers; medicines, plants, fruits and seeds.
         Foodstuff:  Particulars  in  detail  of each  commodity  must  be  shown on  the
       customs declaration form C2/CP3.
         Import licence:  The  importation  of all  classes  of goods  (except  gift  parcels)
       requires a  licence to be furnished  by the addressee in  Israel,  (see below).  Parcels
       containing personal and household goods are free from customs duties.
         Gift  parcels:  Goods other  than  foodstuffs.  A single family may not  receive
       more than  one  consignment  of  goods  other than  foodstuffs  during  a  period
       of 3 months and no consignment may exceed £300 (Israel) in value.
         Gift  parcels  are  subject  to  full  import  duty.  Customs  declaration  forms
       should be clearly marked “Unsolicited  Gift".
       Articles  introduced  into Israel  in violation of the  regulations will be confiscated.
       In certain cases delivery may be authorized against  payment of a fine.
