May Hill (A54) was a small office in the parish of Manchester, being about 6 miles from
Mandeville. In November 1862 its number was altered to A53 and in 1885 its name and location
were changed to Spur Tree.
This mourning cover to Everton left May Hill on February 9th 1860, has the Kingston eds on the
following day, transiting London and arriving in Liverpool on March 61h, via the packet.
