Lucea (A51) was the chief town in the parish of Hanover, but despite this, correspondence from it
is said to be quite rare. This letter which is unfortunately somewhat damaged, left Lucea on June
27th 1859 and arrived in Spanish Town on the 29th. The distance between the nvo towns is 125
miles so the postal rate is correct. This item was once in the Glassco collection.
After the reshufile of numbers in November 1862, A5 l was allocated to Manchioneal.
