Cbapclton - A33 - This post office opened in 1847 when Mr. Francis Lowe was appointed as
postmaster and he remained there for 21 years, his salary being £24 per annum.
Clarendon - A35 - This town in the Clarendon parish was named after a celebrated Lord
Chancellor. The post office was only open from 1847 to 1876.
Dry Harbour - A36 - A small seaport in St.Ann's parish and was visited by Columbus on his
second voyage on May 4th 1494 naming it Puerto Bueno.
Duncans - A37 - A flourishing village near Falmouth where the enfranchised peasantry purchased
land and built their own houses. It is reported that there was an excellent weekly market.
