This Post Office, which is situated in the parish of Portland 11 miles from Port Antonio, opened in
August 1873 and received the Jast numeral obliterator to be sent to Jamaica.
This cover to the Crown Surveyor is marked on the reverse with a Priestman's River eds dated
June 8th 1885 and a Kingston squared-circle receiver for the following day.
