The offices in the Post Towns were supplied with ample handstamps but sometimes the ink pad
went dry or even the office ran out of ink, the result being an albino mark and this letter shows
one such. Tt runs vertically starting at the London date stamp.
This early letter was posted on March 26th 1834, rated '2/2' to London and has one ofthe many
Kingston transit marks. London arrival date was May 6th.
