colonies - Jamaica having 6 different types in use between 1805 and 1830. Originally their use
was confined to outward correspondence passing through the Post Office in Kingston. but the last
type issued ''as mainly u. ed a a recei,ing mark at King. ton. The fleurons were ah,ays struck in
black and are often applied faintly.
