PHILIPPINES
Letter Post

Air Mail See Schedules of Letter Rates.
Dutiable articles may be sent by letter and small packet post—up to $100
green label required; thereafter top green label and form C2/CP3.
Insurance: No Service.
Prohibitions: Contraceptives and literature relating thereto; intoxicants of any
kind; games of chance; advertisements and circulars, etc. relating to lotteries;
propaganda of a seditious nature; pipes and parts thereof for smoking opium,
cofTee in any form.
Restrictions: Silkworms and their eggs; plants and seeds.
Parcel Post

Customs declarations: 1 Yellow form CP3.
Insurance: No Service.
Prohibitions: Contraceptives and literature relating thereto; intoxicants of any
kind; games of chance, advertisements and circulars, etc. relating to lotteries;
propaganda of a seditious nature; pipes and parts thereof for smoking opium,
coffee in any form.
Restrictions: Silkworms and their eggs; plants and seeds; firearms and parts
thereof. The addressee must obtain a release certificate from an authorized bank
before a parcel can be handed over.
Gift Parcels: Gifts parcels may not exceed 500 pesos in value for each addressee.
Gifts sent by Filipino residents abroad must not be sent more frequently than
once a month, and w hen sent by other nationals must not be sent more often
than once in six months.
Import Licence: An import licence is required for all parcels, except gift parcels
valued up to 100 pesos.
Compensation is not payable.
