Parcel Post

Air /
Insurance: No Service.
Customs declarations: 2 forms C2/CP3 and 1 despatch note CP2 written in
Spanish or French and English.
Prohibitions: Letters. The importation of certain classes of goods is prohibited.
Restrictions: Arms, except sporting weapons; pharmaceutical products;
saccharin.
Import Licences: Import licences arc not required but heavy surcharges are
payable on many goods.
Invoice: A commercial invoice containing a declaration of origin of the goods
must accompany every commercial parcel or consignment of parcels posted at the
same time by one sender to the same addressee.
Packing: Parcels should be very strongly packed, tin boxes being used for
preference. Parcels packed in paper only are not accepted.

Air Mail
Dutiable articles may be sent by small packet post—up to S100 green label
required; thereafter top green label and form C2/CP3. Items subject to customs
duty arc not accepted in ordinary, registered or insured letters. Serums, vaccines
and urgently required medicaments arc admitted in all cases.
Items of value (c.g. coin, currency notes, gold, etc.) arc not admitted in ordin
ary or registered letters.

Insurance: No Service.
Address: The words “The People's Republic of China” must be included in the
address.
