Insurance: Limit S800
Prohibitions: Cotton seed, lottery tickets, narcotics, Spanish bank-notes.
Restrictions: Jewels and precious stones; pharmaceutical preparations for
commercial purposes; plants, scrums and vaccines, used clothing.
Parcel Post

Air: No Service.
Insurance: No Service.
Customs declarations: form C2/CP3 and 1 despatch note CP2. Customs decla
rations must bear the Post Office serial number of the parcel.
Prohibitions: Letters, military weapons and air-guns, playing cards, potatoes;
rosaries, relies and similar articles: Spanish bank-notes, films and celluloid, used
clothing.
Restrictions: Jewels and precious stones; precious metals, pharmaceutical
pre arations for commercial purposes; plants.
Packing and marking: Parcels containing films or celluloid, manufactured or
not. must bear a label clearly marked “celluloid”.
Delivery: Parcels arc not delivered.

Dutiable articles may be sent by letter and small packet post-up to S100 green
label written in French or Portuguese and English required; thereafter top green
label and form C2/CP3.
Insurance: Limit $800. Principal towns only.
Prohibitions: Bank-notes, currency notes and documents payable to bearer,
except in insured letters; butane gas lighters and refills, coin, gold, jewellery,
platinum, precious stones, silver.
Address: The words "Cape Verde Islands" should appear in full in the address
of correspondence.
