4. Printed Christmas, New Year, Easter Birthday, Picture, Greeting and
Visiting Cards
Nothing may appear in 117iting except:
Date of sending and names and addresses of sender and addressee;
Formulae of courtesy or of a conventional character not exceeding five" ords or initials.
For example Kind Regard.•, Best 1Vishe3 and other greetings and so on, not conveyin~
any specifir informatiou or making an enquiry or request, are «dmis~ii.Jic. Phrases such
as A rriued Safely, See you on 1\f onday, and so on, are not admissible.

Any writing 110t formiog part of the document itself must refer solely to the arrnn£:e-
ment or correction of the type or to the execution of the work.
6. Educational Exercises and, Examination Papers "ith comments, corrections
ancl instructions.
Any writing not form ing part of the document itself must refer solely to the subject
matter of the exerrise or to the questions put or to the answers thereto.
Coupons, forms, cards ancl so on, bearing written answers to acrostics and guessing
competitions and 1vritten communications indicating whetbcr by mean.s of words, letter.,
marl<s or numbers moves in a game of chess, arc inadmissible.
No paper money (as defined on page 13), may be posted or coo1 eyed or deli "ered

Yearly diaries are admitted, !.Jut diaries for shorter periods are inadmissible.

A Local packet of "Printed" Papers may not exceed 3 pound~ in weight, nor 2 feet
in length, nor 1 foot in width or depth, except it be intended for transmission as a parcel.
