Alexandria - A27 - John Alexander, a Scot, called his estate in the early XVntb century by this
name, later becoming a town renowned for its muscat grapes. The post office opened in 1841 .
Aoootto Bay - A28 - Trollope described it as a little village, but with the advent of the railway in
1896 and with development of the banana trade, it assumed considerable importance.
Brown's Town - A31 - A small town in St.Ann's parish, with its neighbourhood being given over
to the cultivation of coffee, pimento and sugar. The post office opened in 1852.
Buff Bay - A32 - Its post office opened in 1845, in later times it became prosperous owing to the
wharves and stores of a fruit company being situated there.
