St. David (A72) was another small parish with a Post Office whose business was minimal, the
postmaster never receiving a salary of over £3 10 0 per annum.
This item is the part-front of a letter written on June 21st 1859, received on the 24th and answered
tbe fo11owing day. There are only three known entires recorded from this rare office, and this
specimen was once in the famous Glassco collection.
This office reverted to its old name of Yallahs 1n 1901.
