There were two offices that reverted from the numeral obliterators to old type (P12)- Malvern
was one and Nevvport was the other. This card left Malvern on December 30th t 891, transited
New York on January 14th where the 'Paid All' was applied and arrived in Ottawa the following
day.
Malvern had previously used ' A50' when the office opened in 1862, this number having earlier
been used at Little River, Jamaica which was an office that seems to have spent most of its early
years being shut.
