This envelope bears the last (of the twelve) early Kingston handstamps sent out by the G.P.O.,
London between I805 and 1875. This particular eds was used between January 1875 and
November 1877. Subsequently the ' squared circle' type of canceller was used. This letter took
just under three weeks to travel from Jamaica to London.
