Customs declarations: 2 forms C2/CP3 and I despatch note CP2.
Insurance: Limit S320.
Prohibitions: Letters, cigarette papers; articles and machines used for the manu­
facture of cigarettes and tobacco; saccharin; salt; contraceptives and publications
relating thereto; butane gas lighters and refills.
Restrictions: Shaving brushes, alcoholic beverages.
Import licence: Certain saleable goods may be imported without an import
licence.
Parcels are accepted for Beirut Saida, Tripoli-Marine and Zable only.
Gijt parcels: Import duty is payable on all gifts except books. Parcels must be
clearly marked “ unsolicited gift".
I Vltarfage dues may be levied on the parcels at time of delivery.
Delivery: Parcels are not delivered.
Compensation is not payable.

green label required; thereafter top green label and form C2/CP3.
Insurance: No Service.
Prohibitions: Charged butane gas lighters and refills (uncharged lighters are
admitted); honey, printed matter relating to football pools.
Restrictions: Arms and ammunition, bees, leeches, and silkworms, parasites
and destroyers of noxious insects intended for the control of these insects and
exchanged between officially recognised institutions; cheese, cigarettes, offensive
weapons of every kind and articles bearing a resemblance or capable of conversion
to a weapon, including pocket knives and toy pistols, plants and seeds, scrums
and vaccines, spirits, yeast, worn clothing.
Import licences are required for many classes of goods.

Declaration must show the current value of the finished article in the open
market at the time of despatch.
