      Dutiable packets.  Sealed  packets  which  arc  likely  to  be  suspected  of being
    dutiable  should  be  endorsed “The sender authorizes the opening of this packet
    forexamination."
      Parcel Post

      Air No: Service.
      Insurance: No Serv ice.
      Customs declarations: 1form C2/CP3 and I despatch note CP2 w ritten in Span-

     sh or French and English.
      Prohibitions: Fetters, arms (except revolvers and sporting guns admitted under
    licence): gardenia plants and seeds; telegraph apparatus; beer; packets of printed
    papers and or books addressed to commercial  banks in Guatemala for ultimate
    delivery  to a  second  addressee.  Communist  literature  is  liable  to  confiscation.
      Restrictions:  liecs  and  honeycombs,  plants  and  seeds.  (Gardenia  plants and
    seeds  are prohibited).
      Weight: The weight of every parcel should be shown on the cover.

      Address:  Every  parcel  addressed  to  a  bank  or other agent  of the person for
    whom it is intended should bear, in addition to the agent's name and address, the
    name and address of the ultimate consignee.
      Certificate  o f origin:  For commercial  parcels  a  certificate  of origin  authen­
    ticated  by a Guatemalan  Consul together  w ith  one  copy  of the  relative invoice
    must be sent separately by letter post to the addressee.
      Delivery:  Parcels  for  Peten  are  forwarded  from  Guatemala City  by air, pay­
    ment  for which must be made by the addressees.

      Dutiable articles may be sent by letter and small packet post-up to S100green
    label  required;  thereafter  top  green  label  and  form  C2/CP3.In  order to allow
    prompt clearance through Customs by the Post Office, a duly certified and signed
    original  customs  invoice  must  Ire  attached  to  each  commercial  parcel.  Such
    invoice must indicate the value of the merchandise, carriage or full postal charges,
    insurance charges, i.c. full C.I.F. value.
      Insurance:  Limit SI20.
      Prohibitions:  Coin,  gol I,  jewellery,  platinum,  precious stones,  silver,  Flick
    knives, bees and silkworms, ham (raw, cooked or corned),  bacon,  apples,  pears,
    grapes, artificial Christmas trees, manufactured plastic flowers, meats (raw, cooked
    or corned), fish.
      Restrictions:  Arms and ammunitions, drugs, plants and  parts of plants, spirit*
    and wines.
