Dutiable articles may be sent by registered letter and small packet post—up to
S100 green label required; thereafter top green label and form C2/CP3.
Items of value (e.g. coins, currency notes, gold etc.) are not admitted in
registered letters.

BOLIVIA

Dutiable articles may be sent by small packet post—up to S100 green label
required; thereafter top green label and form CP2.
Small packets must not exceed 1 lb in weight.
Items of value (e.g. coins, currency notes, gold etc.) are not admitted in regis
tered letters.
Insurance: No Service.
Prohibitions: Arms, alcohol, gold or silver coins, currency notes, flower and
vegetable seeds.
Restrictions: Pharmaceuticals, plants, seeds and spirits.

Air No Service
Customs declarations: 2 forms C2/CP3 and 1 despatch note CP2. The customs
declaration forms must show the weight of the parcels in grammes.
Insurance: No Service.
Prohibitions: Ammunition, alcohol, letters; cigarette lighters; cigarette papers
tobacco; coin of nickel or silver; flower and vegetable seeds; jewels and precious
objects; worn clothing unless accompanied by a certificate of disinfection from a
competent authority and authenticated by a Bolivian Consular Officer.
Restrictions: Arms, pharmaceuticals, plants, seeds and spirits.
Invoice: A Bolivian Consular invoice is required for each parcel or consignment
of parcels. It may be sent separately or enclosed in a parcel. If enclosed in a parcel,
the customs declaration must be noted “Consular Invoice Enclosed”.
Commercial invoices signed by a Bolivian Consul are also required for parcels
exceeding S100 (U.S.) in value.
Gift parcels are subject to import duties.
Compensation is not payable for ordinary parcels lost, stolen or damaged in
the Bolivian Service.
