                Amo1mls of poundagc.-Postal Orders are sold and cashed nt all  Post Ofliccs in Jamnica,
               nnd  in  the  countries  marked  with  an  asterisk  (•) above,  which  include the greater
               portion  of  tho British  Empire, except J\uhlralia nod Cnn:~dn.  These orders are printed
               on  a  paper  bearing an "all·O\'Cr" water mark consisting of !be !loyal  Cipher-a crown
               and the letlers.G. "  R., nnd they  measure slightly less than 7  io.  in  length.
                The commissions charged  on orders issued nrc as follows:-
                      At 6d., ls., Is. 6d., 2s., 2,. 6d.        Id.
                      At 3s., 3s. 6d., 4s. 6d., Ss.             Hd.
                      At 7s. Gd.                                2d.
                      At Ss., lOs.                              2~d.

                Postage Stamps A.Oized to Po3tol Orders.-The ~<~oder of a  postal  order,  whether  made
               payable iu  the  United  Kiugdom  or  elsewhere  (excep~ Cnnndn) may increase its value
               by an amount not exceeding 5d. by affixing  post.age stamps  not e.~ceeding two in number
               to the face of the order.  No  credit will  be given  for stamps  which  are in excess of  two
               or which  are  affixed  elsewhere  than  in  the spaces provided.  Odd  htdf-penoc  will  not
               be paid.  Stamps  perforated  with  initials or  marks,  or embossed  or impressed stamps
               cut out of envelopes,  post cards,  &c.,  cannot  be  accepted  for  this purpose.   t..::J
                The value of the postage stamps  of  those  Colonies,  etc.,  which  do  not  use  Sterling
               currency is gh·en in the following list.

                Period dllrillg which Order• are payable.-If an order be  not  p~id  within  six monthS
               from  the last day or the month  of issue,  n  commission  equal  to the original  poundage
               will  be charged.  The commission  thus paid  mu.st be affixed  in  postage stamps to  the
