               packing is  recommended:- Usc a  wooden or other  rigid box with suitable  pnr~i~ions and
               a  well-fitting lid, wrap each egg separately in  newspaper or other soft m:ttcrinl, place tbo
               eggs on  end, ench iu n sepamte partition, and  fill  up the vacant spaces  in  the box with
               newspaper or co~ton waste;  marl\ th<:  parcel "~ggs."
                The namo and  address of the sender  must appear  on all  parcels scn t  by parcel-post
               muil.

                Newspapers, circulurs, book packets and pnrcels, must be pos~d without a cover, or in
               a cover open :\t tbe ends or sidos so as lo admit of the contents bcitl{l easily withdrawn for ex-
               amination.  The mere clipping of tbe corners or of tbe side of nn envelope or other cover
               is  insufficient.  T hey must  not. contain any letlcr or communication of the  nature of a
               letter
                If any letter or communication of the nature or a letter bo found in a newspaper, circular,
               book packet  or  parcel,  the entire packet will be surcharged  at the unpaid teller  rate  of
               posta(Je.
                "Blind  U terature."- Packets  containing  papers  impressed  fo;  the  use  of  the
               blind may be sent at the  following special rate:- up  to 2 lbs., ~d.; 5 lbs.,  Id.; S lbs. Hd.;
               11  tbs., 2d.  See  a lso  page  14.

                Any letter or other  mail  matter  may be registered on  prep,~yment of tbe registration
               fee  nod  postage.  Packets  containing  money  and  jewellery  t  nttl$1  be  rcvistered  and

               must be prepaid Ill the lcUer Jate of postaae.  Any packet found to conlain money or jewellery
               but  not registered,  will  be liable to a surcha rge equal to double the  registration fee.
                A  letter must not be accepted for rcgistrntion unless it  is i11 perfect order.  A  registered
               letter fastened  with  gummed paper can  only be accepted  if  the sender signs his name
               across  tbe slip  of gummed  paper.

                The  fees  for  Inland  Registration  payable  over  and  above  the  postage,  and  the
