            1'hc  Gcncrnl  Post  Office  in  Kingston is situated  in  the  Public  Building~,  west  block,
                                      King Street.
              THE  Circulation  Brnnch, Money  Order Office,  and  Tele~mph Offices  are  rnaintnined
            11 t  the  north-we~t portion  of  the  Public  Buildin~s,  Kin!(  Street.  The Control  Branch
            r~nd  the Tele~r11ph Office  are on the  fit·st floor of  the buildin·~·  The Parcel Post Depart:
            mcnt,  includinl(  t.he  C.O.D.  and  Detained  l'ncket  Office~  is  housed  in  the  new
            Government Buildings  (formerly  "Gra.eo  Building,"  No. 33  vlivier Place).

                                     REGULATIONS.
             (a)  Letters.-No  letter  for  delivery in Ja.mnic:~, except it be sent to or from a  Govern-
            ment Office, may exceed  2 feet in length 1 foot in width or  1 foot in depth, or if in the form
            of a  roll 30 inches in  length and '1 inches in diameter.  There is no limit of weight.
              Lellers sent  in ope11 envelopes  are not admitted at rale for  "Printed Papers."
             Letters,  newspapers,  book  packets,  etc.,  which  ure 1oholly  unpaid will  be liable  to a
            surcharge  equal to double the prepaid rate; and, if  they are insufficiently  prepaid, to a
            surcharge  equal  to  double  the  deficieru;y.
             (b)  Post Cards.- Private  post  cards  P"'Jiaid  by means of halfpenny postage stamps
            may be  sent  by  the  inland  post on  the  following  conditions:-They must  not  e.xceed
            5I by 4~ inches nor be less than .J: hy 2f inches.  The right hand half of the face is reserved
            for  the Post.al directions and address; the loft hand half is available for th9 purposes of the
            sender, subject to  the following restrictions:-In addition  to  stamps for  prepayment post
            cards may bear small labels showing the names and address of the  sender and the addressee;
            and engravings and photographs on  very thin paper may be nffi.<ed t,o the back and left
            han~ half of the  address side,  provided that  they  are computely adherent.  Newspaper
            euttmgs may  a lso  be  att3ched  to  the  back  and  left hand  hali of  the  address side.  A
            post card must not be enclosed in a  CO\'er of any kind.
