                                            Poster  - M-USAC  1.


                     The  First type  of Army  censor  handstamp  was  that used
              by  Captain Baer  at the Transportation  Office,  28  North  Street,
              Kingston,  which  consists  of a  £our  line format  reading

              "Charles  M.  Baer,  Captain,  Signal  Corps,/Chie:f  Military
              Censor,  War  Department,/u.s.  ~gineers,  ~amaica District,/

              CEN'SORJSDu.        The  first -three  lines  are in seri-f  printing  ei th.s-
              4  mm  or  2  mm  high,  and  the  last  line  is  in  sans  serif print
              4  mm  high.       It has  only  been  recorded  struck  in red.
