RN 7 . NAVAL INTELLIGENCE CENTRE/JAMAICA.
This is also a TRD marking, comprising a double lined oval of 38 x 54mm with a single
lined oval 24 x 42mm, around the top is the wording NAVAL INTELLIGENCE CENTRE and at the
bottom JAMAICA, bot h in block seri f type 3mm high, separated by asterisks on each size .
The marking is usually recorded struck in blue ink but is also reported known in shades
Of purple to grey b l ue . The centre provi des space for a date stamp . The centre was a
shore based unit , designated as H. M. S . Morgan .

Cover to Mexico bearing RN 7 and RN 8 below . The marking is struck in blue ink but
the cover is un-f ranked, and bears no dates . The reverse also bears two wax seals each
worded THE SEAL OF HIS MAJESTY' S SHIPS together with a further example of RN 8 .
