The next cover was posted at Cross Roads Post Office and bears that Office' s dater of
the gth October , 1944 . The cover is addressed to the West Indian Training College,
Mandeville P . O. and is franked at 1~, bearing on the reverse Mandeville receiving dater
of the 12th October, but with the year plug omitted . The obverse is shown below and has
the manuscript endorsement AC/2 No . 723087/Gilbert A. Grant/Royal Air Force/Flight 26/
Gibraltar Camp/Kingston . This indicates that some at least of the R. A. F . personnel
were housed i n t his camp .
