As mentioned there are a few examples of this covers which usually can only be noted
by the endorsements of the sender' s name or other particulars , usually on the reverse of
such covers . In this Section no individual dates of usage are shown .
RAF 4 . "G . MESS ", R. A. F . Detachment , / " H. M. S . Buzzard".
This cover from Cross Roads with a Cross Roads dater of the 8 ~ September , 1942 , was
sent to Bournemouth and evidence that R. A. F . personnel assisted the Fleet Air Arm at
H. M. S . Buzzard . Franked at 2/2d the obverse bears Postal Censorship label and
handstamp . The full typed endorsement shown on the reverse below, reads Sender : -
L. A. c . Harcock . F . W. /"G . MESS , R. A . F . Detachment, / " H. M. S . Buzzard" , C/o . G. P . O. London .
It also bears manuscript endorsement May Victory soon be ours .

The second cover is one from the Myrtle Bank Hotel England with Myrtle Bank dater
of the 31 August but with the year plug omitted, but believed to be 1943 . The cover
is franked at 2 / 2d, the then airmail rate , and bears Postal Censorship resealing label
with the above endorsement on the reverse as shown .
