This is a large four line handstamp in a single line frame ,
45 x 100mm, worded on the first line , Answer to be addressed to,
3 or 4 x 87mm, on the second line a row of dots 78mm long for
the name of the addressee . The third line comprises P . of W.
Brigade Office., 3 or 4 x 77mm, with a period a f ter and on the
line Jamaica . 3 or 5 x 25mm, again with a period after . All
the wording is in mixed serif type and the marking is in struck
in p urple , g r ey/black or blue inks , usually on the reverse of
the envelope .

Blue ink EKD : 4 March 1915 LKD : 13 May 1916
Grey/ black i nk EKD : 28 March 1916 LKD : 16 May 1916
