Maritime Jamaica: Canadian National Steamships.

            From 1927 Canadian National (West Indies) Steamships operated a monthly service between
            Canada and Kingston. From 1929 two of the company’s new Lady boats were used.

            The Lady Somers, 8,194 tons, 130 passengers, was built in 1928 and was in service until 1941.

            Canadian National Steamships, separately from their (West Indies) subsidiary, operated ships of the
            Prince group on cruises from the USA to the Caribbean in 1930 – 37.

            The Prince David, 6,900 tons, 404 passengers, was built in 1930 and was in service until 1945.
