27 Nov 1873 Ambulance Envelope from the DLO to Kingston
An envelope bearing the name Fred Sullivan (Postmaster from 1870 to 1891) were the second type produced.
Only two copies recorded, this one dated 1873 and another in 1885.

Scan of the reverse of the flap (at 100%).

Squared RLB Type 1 of 27 Nov 1873 (four years earlier than Proud).
From the manuscript endorsement it appears that the return postage had by then been increased to 4d.
