Duplicate letter sent from Ely Place, London dated 14 Feb 1835 to AFJ Tulloch at Bounty Hall, Falmouth Jamaica.
Marked ‘Dead’ and returned to the UK.
In the UK, the returned letter was enclosed in the ambulance envelope below, for return to the originator.
One of only two known examples of such use for a 19th century letter returned from Jamaica to GB.
