Air M ail for Australia, Etc. :—Letters for Australia,
New Zealand, Japan, etc., are forwarded by air to U.S. Pacific
exchange post office for transmission by steamer to destination; and
for Australia by way also of the “England-India-Australia” Air Mail
Service leaving London every Wednesday and Saturday.
Air M ail for H ong K ong and China is forwarded by Air to
San Francisco, and thence either by steamer to destinations, or by air to
Hong Kong and thence to Canton and Shanghai, etc., by air. The
latter provides a 9-day service to Hong Kong, 10-day to Canton, and
11-day to Shanghai.
Special attention is directed to the fact that the unit of
weight for Air Mail letters is the half ounce and not the ounce
as for steamer mail.
Letters intended for transmission by air must be fully pre
paid to the extent of 25% of the air fee.
(Rates for letters weighing up to 2 oz. are shown in following
Tables. Limit of weight is 4 lb. 6 oz.)

Tuesday at 10.30 a.m. for Brazil, British Guiana, Colombia, Dutch and French Guiana,
Trinidad, Venezuela, (via Barranquilla). For Argentina, Bolivia,
Canal Zone, Chili, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala,
Honduras (Rep.), Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Uruguay (via
Cristobal).
Wednesday at 10.30 a.m. for Bahamas, British Honduras, Canada, Cuba, Dominicana,
Europe, Haiti, Puerto Rico, United States of America.
Thursday at 10.30 a.m. for Antigua, Brazil, Colombia, Dutch Guiana, Guadeloupe,
Martinique, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Trinidad, Venezuela.
Friday at 10.30 a.m. for Bahamas, Canada, Cuba, Dominicana, Europe, Haiti, Puerto
Rico, United States of America.
Saturday at 10.30 a.m. for Argentina, Bolivia, Chili, Canal Zone, Co'ombia, Costa Rica,
