                 9.  No compensation  is given  for  injury or damage consequential upon- i.e., indirectly
                arising  from-the  loss  of anything sent,  by pusl.
                 10.  Without  prejudice to nny of !he  precoding rules, the Pustmnstcr for Jamni~, will
                if he thinks fit,  refuse to give compensation for loss on any ground on  which a  common
                carrier might in  like case claim  exemption from  legnl liabilitics.

                of Nom  Scotia,  Cnnndinn  Bnnk  of Commerce,  Hoynl  Bnuk  of  Cunod:t,  or  of  any
                hank of  issue  in  Gre:1t.  Britain,  tu\d notes  current  in  nny  Foreign  Rtnte  or  British
                Possession,  money  orders n.nd  postnl orders,  unoulilert\tcd  postap;c a nd revenue stamps,
                exchequer  bills,  bank  po.;t  bills,  bills  of  exchange,  proruil!!jory  notes,  cheques,  credit
                notes which entitle the  holder to money or goods, nnd nil  orders tllld a uthorities for tbe
                payment of money. whether nc!lotiable or not. bonds, coupons. nnd securities for money
                whether  negotiable  or  not.
