features to assist plating, though not all are equally constant.

Inverted H, set low. Blots around H. Break in upright of T.
F for E in PENNY.

Position 4. Position 5. Position 6.
T very slightly to left. T to right. T to right.
W thin at top right. Second foot of W short Bottom bar of E in PENNY
P of PENCE thin or broken. and first upright broken. thin or broken, like an F.

Lower row, positions 7 to 12, 1.5mm between lines.

T very slightly to left, T slightly to left. T well to right.
raised, with broken upright; O clipped at top right; Cut E for F; bottom bar
bump on loop of P in PENNY. break in top of C. of E in PENNY short.
