Registered wartime cover from St . Ann's Bay to England franked at 4/7d the stamps
being cancelled by St . Ann ' s Bay dater of 19 September, the year being omitted. Sent via
the U. S .A . the reverse bears Miami and New York receiving daters of 23 and 24
September 1944 respectively and the cover bears the resealing label of the Jamaican
censorship Service. The cover also bears the wording Air Mail , 7 x 27mm, in mixed
serit type within a single line frame, 10 x 34mm, the whole being struck in black ink.
