Packet Letters Posted on 1st Day of Issue of Jamaican Adhesives
Jamaican adhesive stamps are recorded issued on 23 November 1860.
However, none have been recorded on this date.
The earliest recorded is 24 November, the sailing date of the first packet.

These letters (and a handful of others) indicate that Jamaican stamps were not yet on sale at the village P.O.s.
They were carried on the first packet steamer (the Teviot) from Kingston after the issue of the Pines.
