Jamaica: The Child Welfare Issue, 1923.

The stamps were issued on 1 November 1923 and were on sale annually across the Christmas
period, from 1 November until 31 January 1927, when they were withdrawn from sale.
            Sales were disappointing: 43,159 ½d, 44,401 1d and 30,595 2½d.

The ½d premium on each stamp ensured that their sale and use was almost entirely philatelic.

Set on internal philatelic cover within May Pen, 4 February 1925.
