                                                       Fifth setting: plating.
            The  Jamaica Handbook suggested that the fifth setting might be only a modification of the fourth
            setting, formed by replacing a few of the letters. This relies on some common features in the same
            positions, especially cut Es, but the detailed differences do not support this view.
