The cover was opened for censoring by the Jamaican Postal Censorship Service, and resealed with a Type
PCL26 label (N°. 8801 ).



The United Fruit Company obviously supported wartime charities, as the cover bears a "Fellowship of the
Bellows" label which was sold to raise funds for the construction of fighter aircraft.
