The third 1ype o£ handstamp used was also a standard iype
of handstamp issued ic the British Army and was made from
rubber in the United Kingdom. The handsiamp consists of
a shield surmounted by a crown with the wording "PASSED BY
Cr.NSOR". It appears that this handstamp was a unit
handstamp and ihere ar-e several dif£ereni numbers recorded,
al~ the handsiamps being siruck in purple ink.
