Samuel Type D3 (Nicholson Type N7)

Type D3 was handstamped by De La Rue from 1862 to 1865.
This handstamp only exists on this value for Jamaica (and some Fiscals).

Samuel Type D5 (Nicholson Type N5)

Type D5 was handstamped and used by De La Rue between 1863 & 1870,
It figured prominently on stamps in their collection and their 1866 specimen booklet.

This rare overprint in blue is known used as late as 1880 and is thought to denote special usage.
