                     Rectangular Returned Letter Branch Name Rubber Date Stamps

                In 1920 the R.L.B. introduced rubber TRD daters instead of the steel daters of which there are three types.

                                                           Type A
                                        With no outer frame and is the shortest of the three.
                              Three examples are known dated between 15 Nov 1920 and 24 Apr 1922.

                                                          Type B

                         Very similar to Type A but is enclosed in a single line frame measuring, 41 x 28mm,
                                     and ‘JAMAICA’ is 34mm without the period following.
                       Earliest of three copies recorded all in violet ink between 17 Aug 1922 and 6 Dec 1923.
